DigiLocal expanding to support South Gloucestershire Council libraries!

Hot on the heels of our announcement that we’re recruiting for a DigiLocal┬« Coordinator, we’re also excited to be working with South Gloucestershire Council to support more DigiLocal clubs in their libraries.

DigiLocal supporting a tech weekend at Stockwood Library

DigiLocal has long enjoyed supporting libraries in hosting tech clubs, they’re a great mix of community based, learning centred, spaces that encourage the kind of engagement we like.

The collaboration with South Gloucestershire will see 4 new clubs launched from early October 2017. The clubs will be:

  • Filton Library
  • Yate Library
  • Kingswood Library
  • Staple Hill Library

The clubs will run on Mondays (Filton & Staple Hill) and Thursdays (Yate & Kingswood). All clubs will be from 6pm until 7pm.

Anyone interested in attending or supporting their local club should contact me (John Bradford : john.bradford@hbb.org.uk). We’ll then coordinate with South Gloucestershire Council.

All the clubs are registered with CodeClub.
