FPV drone racing is great, but we’re taking things up a level. MAAXX an indoor drone air race, simple as that. But there is a catch: the drone piloting can be done from a ground-station, but it must be fully automatic.
This is not about human piloting skills; it is about building machines and systems that can operate without human intervention.

Fully autonomous racing is challenging, that’s why we’re doing it! However, we want to make the barriers to entry as low as possible, so anybody can have a go.
Drones and electronics are super-cheap, and the software is usually free. The course is simple enough that you can build a test circuit at home and develop your stuff. You really can pit your ingenuity against some of the largest aerospace companies and best Universities!
Even if you’re not an avid systems developer, there will be plenty of thrills and spills for spectators!
