DigiLocal Volunteering

DigiLocal Volunteering

Supporting communities around Bristol and Bath couldn’t happen without our fantastic volunteers. If you’d like to share your passion and enthusiasm for tech with the next generation, then please consider volunteering!

All our clubs would love to have your support. There’s a near endless supply of enthusiastic kids who want to find out more about technology!

If you’re already a registered STEM Ambassador or Code Club volunteer then we can connect you immediately with clubs looking for support; if you’re not, we can;

  • help you through the DBS checks,
  • introduce you to the technology being used (mostly Scratch, Python, some Minecraft),
  • work with you to engage with a venue, and,
  • make sure you’ve all the kit you need.

In return we just need 1hr of your week, once a week. If you can find a couple of colleagues then you can take it in turns.

DigiLocal Ambassadors (our volunteers) can search for volunteering opportunities and update their volunteering choices here (you will need to sign in to access these pages).

To register your interest in being a DigiLocal Ambassador please complete the form below.

If you don't have a valid DBS yet (or aren't sure what a DBS is) put N/A here and we'll follow up to talk you through the details.

The information you provide will NOT be shared with any third party organisations.

Thank you for getting involved!

All our DigiLocal Ambassadors are registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) via Graphic Science, the STEM Ambassador Hub for the West of England.
